This brief form gathers information on those who are interested in the Data-Informed Community of Practice. Filling this out will let us know to keep you in the loop and you can also provide input on other ways we might support you.
The Data-Informed Community of Practice is open to any faculty who are interested in collaborating with other instructors and supporting one another in using data to improve student success at the course and/or program level.
Members of the Data-Informed Teaching Community of Practice meet three to four times per semester to explore student data available to UI faculty with two goals: 1) identify barriers to student learning and 2) generate solutions to implement at the course or program level. Everyone will have their own course or program focus, and the group will serve as a space to practice effective approaches to identifying and using data for improved student learning.
We invite all faculty at the University of Iowa who are interested in these topics to join us!
If you have any questions about this community or about course data available at the university, please email OTLT Research & Analytics at ITS-RA@iowa.uiowa.edu
